Good morning every one! I hope you all had a nice weekend. My wife and I decided to go over to Seaside Heights in New Jersey for their very first Pride festival. It was a lot of fun and I hope they continue in the years to come. I entered my first contest on this platform this morning. I wasn't sure if I wanted to get involved but after reading the prompt and some of the other entries I figured I should give it a shot too. Anyways here's to a great week of setting and smashing goals!

Pride parade went off as planned in Missoula Montana. Weather was brutal before and after but perfect for the parade. I didn't go to the other festivities (too damp and cold for my old bones).

Setting goals is fine but make sure you've broken them down into bite-size objectives. There's plenty to do here. Daily newsfeed, forums, reviews, reading, writing... come to mind.

I didn't realize that I could only post 10 pieces to my portfolio with a free membership. Hopefully Friday I can post more. Until then I think I'll focus my efforts on the Read A Newbie section. I hope that I can be helpful with my reviews. Have a great day everyone!
I just wanted to thank everyone for the amazing welcome I have received in the last week. I especially want to thank everyone who has reviewed any of my work. I appreciate all of the feedback, it really motivates me! I hope everyone had a great weekend and a wonderful fathers day to any dads out there! Thank you all again, I'm so happy to be apart of this community!

Thank you for updating the "Ferry" with the corrections. It makes me feel good to have had a part of that. If you need assistance with inserting pictures/clip art let me know.

It feels good to be writing again. I didn't realize how much I missed this. It's been even better finding a community as wonderful and helpful as this one.
Yesterday was my birthday. Thirty three years of me. Not all have been worth celebrating I'm sure. The last few have been honestly, pretty great. I suppose that's what happens when you date then marry someone who cares about your birthday more than you. I hate surprises. Call me the FBI because I will figure out whatever it is we're doing almost instantly. A small detail can open a world of possibilities. I try every year not to ruin the great birthday surprise. So I'm sure you're all wondering if I did or not. You and my wife will just have to wonder. Thirty three years doesn't seem like a very long time. Though for some this is considered mid-life even if they don't know it yet. I don't think this is what I'm supposed to use the "news feed" for but hey why not right?

Happy birthday!
Hello everyone!

Just recently decided to give writing another go. I'm really looking forward to reading what everyone is working on and I'm hopeful to get some constructive criticism on my own works. I hope everyone has a wonderful day/ night!
