I TOTALLY LOVE THIS POST FOR YOUR STORY!!! Most folks just post a link and maybe ask folks to read it. You really work to get people to WANT to read it! Great job!!!

Just an FYI, I can't recall if I've told you this before, but when you post in your notebook, it appears only on the Community Newsfeed (where everything everyone posts in their notebooks appears) and on the Personal Newsfeed of only those who have clicked your Plus sign. Clicking a person's Plus sign means you are favoriting them or becoming a fan. After you click a person's Plus sign, you will see everything they post on their Personal Newsfeed.

What does this mean? Well, since you don't have many fans, it means hardly anyone will see what you post. When people click Newsfeed on the left, it takes them to their Personal Newsfeed. Most folks never go beyond that, so will never meet you. Thus it's important for YOU to go out and meet THEM. *Bigsmile* Of course, this can be done lots of ways such as through contests, blogging challenges, etc. But one of the easiest, IMO, is to hop on the Community Newsfeed and start meeting folks.

When you are on your Personal Newsfeed, you will see "View the Community Newsfeed" along the top-ish part of your Personal Newsfeed. Click that and a whole new world will open up. *Bigsmile* Scroll down and click Like (or Love or whatever) and start commenting on things you have something to say about. Over time, people will start to notice you and will often start wanting to follow you (click your Plus sign). Once they click your Plus sign, they'll see your posts, even if they are only on their Personal Newsfeed. Plus, on the Community Newsfeed you find out about tons of happenings around WdC. Win-win!

Again, great job on this post!

jolanh, I wanted you to see this post. You already do a pretty good job on your advertising posts, but consider something along the lines of this from time to time. *Smile*

I love the last 2 lines in your post! *Laugh* If I didn't hate reviewing so much (or your thing was like 3 paragraphs long), I'd do it for you. But I already did a review today, fulfilling my 1-review-per-long-period-of-time-until-I-can't-stand-the-pestering quota. *Rolling*

But good luck and congrats getting something finished! As much as I hate to review, I seem to write even less often. *Pthb*

Stars and Other Poems Open in new Window. (E)
A collection of nature poetry

I have added a new poem. "Inspiration".

It's not meant to be a very serious poem, so make light of it as much as you want. It's not meant to rhyme at all. It's true for my inspiration cycle.

Mini Books Open in new Window. (ASR)
A collection of short stories concerning some of my characters in other books, and others.

There is now a brand new short story.

An excerpt of what could become a sequel to one of my other books, Shepherd. It follows the main character of the first book, Kirt Conner, now 28 years old, who is fighting on the Union side of the American Civil War. The story loosely follows the Battle of Shiloh.

If you find a typo/historical mistake, then please inform me.

Just scroll down to the bottom to find it!
Thank you!

New Times - Guide to the Clans Open in new Window. (E)
A guide to the different Clans in my Warriors fanfiction book, New Times.

It is a guide to my item, New times, a Warriors fan fiction story. It lists the cats in the four different Clans. I will add to it as necessary. I will also continue to add new sections. Right now, I am working on a territories section that will go into the different habitats the Clans are used to, and how they have adapted to them.

If you have a suggestion for a section in the guide or a cat name, as I am in need of more, then either give a review, or comment on this post!

Thanks!

Welcome to WdC, M. L. Cooke! *Smile* Good job getting 3 chapters done so fast!
I am now adding names to all my works so I can find them more easily. It won't affect that much, but I thought I'd better let you know.

I am also going to be adding more chapters to EACH item in my portfolio. This means that the second Warriors Cats chapter will be found on the same work as the first one. I will then continue to add to them like so until I reach some sort of limit, then I will create a new one.

Also, look out for more fun quizzes and crosswords! I will soon move on to make a crossword and quiz each about dogs, dragons, Alaska, deep sea, and so on!

Keep on Writing!
