| Hi there Jeremy. I live in Dorset and just love this sight. I started seriously at the beginning of 2013 although I was a member before that. Since then I have grown in my writing and confidence. This is my first Nano and although it has been a definite stretch, I am convinced that it is the right time for me. I couldn't have said that last year. I reached 42,000 today, 8,000 to go before Saturday deadline. Will I get there? I hope to, but that depends on how fast my characters are and what they are willing to do for me.  You do deserve a pat on the back. For trying, you have succeeded to go further than you thought you could and that is success.  I hope you like it on WDC and stay. | OK, so I've failed to hit any targets in NaNoWriMo, including the major one of getting 50K words out by Nov30th. No matter. I've thoroughly enjoyed the intellectual exercise but this baby will only get delivered at its own pace. But to those who have managing to complete this onerous I offer my utmost admiration. |
