Happy mother's day to all you women out there! Parenting is hard work. I never knew the stress I gave to my parents until I became a mother myself. It was payback time. My children started doing to me, the same things I used to do to my parents but never thought anything of.
I am going to be away for a few days to catch up on my reading. I would like to join the Monthly Reading Club, so I've got to meet my target reading for the month. I read, Perfume: The story of a murderer, by Suskind last weekend. This weekend, I am reading, And Then There Was None, by Agatha Christie. I've also got to see if I can complete one creative non-fiction story I started working on, weeks ago- I've exceeded my time target. When I am done, I will post it here on WDC and hope to get some reviews. Even if my work gets ripped apart, I am learning.
Hi there, I should very much like to welcome you to writing.com.
It is a great family of like minded people such as yourself who love writing. I do hope you get as much out of it as I have.
Cheers Sue
