Will you be participating in NaNo (AKA NaNoWriMo AKA National Novel Writing Month--it's in November)? It's a world-wide thing that, of course, many WdC members also participate in. The official website is https://www.nanowrimo.org (not affiliated with WdC). The goal is to write 50k words during November to get a good jumpstart on a novel. It's NOT supposed to be all that good, edited, complete. It's just supposed to get you started. Most novels are 70-100k and many people spend December and January working to complete their November effort. Some people even use it to get something published every year. Cool!
I forgot to post a link to our NaNo Prep, in case you want to participate. It's in October and is exercises to help you explore and further flesh out your ideas so when November hits, you're not staring at a blank page.
