The second round of day 2, Six-Word Festival. The prompt is "Sixwords Mom never told me." First thought? Avoid the RED ROOM OF PAIN!
Or maybe...
It's all genetic. Sorry about that.

Now I need to figure out how to change out the black case for a picture on the blog page. Anyone know how?
So complicated. I have been working on this for three weeks, and still haven't managed to restore my membership and blog so I can actually start writing here again.

Now you've got it. *Smile* Write on!
So I've blogged 3 days in a row now, and I'm liking it.

I have a new blog. Again.
You are killing me, Smalls. *Laugh*
*Laugh* I know. I should really stop making new blogs and just focus on writing in the damn things!
What a difference a week makes! Tony and I have been back and forth through text, email, and a couple phone calls, and he seems resigned to the divorce and we've been starting to work out details in a very reasonable way. He said he will not contest, but we will hold off on filing until his deployed ends sometime next March.

Good to hear you're making progress.
*Heart*
Very sad to hear this news, but I know you are a strong lady who will make it through this. It's never easy regardless. *Heart*
Over the weekend I finally managed to work up the nerve to tell my husband I want a divorce. It didn't go well. Long store short, I agreed not to close the door all the way at this point on the pretense of trying to resolve things. In reality, I look at it as giving him time to catch up since he was completely blind-sided.
I, too, am sorry you are going through this. I hope you come to an amicable resolution to things.

It is a very hard thing to go through, and from what I've heard it's as hard or harder on the one who makes the initial break. At any rate, I hope he will indeed have time to catch up and that you will be able to bear up under his anger and pain. You've had plenty of reasons to leave long before this it seems like, and I applaud your coming to the decision to give it a try.
Thanks for the support. Sometime over the weekend the door closed. He caught up pretty fast. So now is a matter of negotiating out all the details.
We interrupt this prolonged absence to bring you breaking news... I've enrolled in grad school.

Way to go, Kay! There or somewhere nearer to the Hubster?
It is an online program. Should take me about two years to complete it.
*Balloonv* Happy WDC birthday! *Balloonv*
Looking at my old blog, and the comments, I can't help feeling very nostalgic for the community that was.

Yeah....I get that sometimes.
Yep. I don't comment as much as I used to. don't seem to blog as much either, although I'm doing okay this month. Do miss Blogville.
I always feel I have no right to talk since I tend to disappear for months at a time, but I definitely do feel the same. In fact, I was just going through old comments from years back a few days ago, wondering, "Where'd everyone go?"
Tonight I found myself googling "Rain gear for dogs." I really need to do something different with my life.

Any prompt will do... just write about pampered puppies!
Why is it that all my creative energy seems to come when I have no time and no physical energy.

oh man, I have the same problem!
For you? Because creative energy needs a trigger? For me ...I do best when I'm bored... or surrounded by creative energy. Both is best.
Because that's when you most need to do something creative.
