I added Chapter 3 if anyone wants to give me either a book review or a review solely on chapter 3 that is fine!

Keep on writing.

I am working on as well. So with two books on the agenda my writing is off to a good start this year.
I have a new update to my blog "Invalid ItemOpen in new Window. this lets you know what I've been doing.

*Paw* I have also revamped my first chapter to The Devil's Knoll "Invalid ItemOpen in new Window. If you would kindly read and maybe tell me what works and what doesn't I would be greatly appreciative.

*CoffeeY* I hope your week has started out great!

Love,
Marie
Do you all get stuck where to go from a certain point that is stellar? A novel idea came up and the scene seemed to stop me and now I have to figure out where to take my novel. How do you all get back on track and make it work?

I saw a quote in the site one day. I don't remember exactly what it said. But it was basically, write first, edit later. When I have an idea, I write it. Even if it doesn't fit with what I was doing or was planning. Once it's written, I either find a way to add it or just think of it as a deleted scene. Maybe something that I could use in the second book or something. Haha... I also run ideas by other people because some times, a scene might fit but I just can see how. Other can look at it with fresh eyes and they can see it more easily.

I am wondering what your l*Heart*ve story is like? YES! Indeed I missed you all on St. Valentines Day which is ironically my favorite holiday ever.

My very first love story started with the birth of my eight year old daughter. I may share that with writing as well. But, I started my love story already and it's a great release. Personally, I've never shared that side with anyone. I see no problem with tweaking the facts a bit by making brown hair black, green eyes blue, short into tall, working at a store as opposed to maybe an office. All those tweaks and it becomes great fiction and at the same time romantic. Unless there is nothing romantic about it.

*Kiss* *Kiss*My favorite two love stories in real life may just well make it into print. One consists of my Ex-husband's parents. He is now 93 and she is 20 years his junior. He remembers all of it. His eyes stare into space as he remembers her and her daughter from a previous marriage. When he looks at her now, his eyes widen and they sparkle as he looks into hers and grabs her hand to hold it. My heart melts every time I see it.

The other love story involves my grandmother and my grandfather that is definitely making it into print. That story transcends social class and language barrier. It's a story I need to write.

akaluv and to me, that makes a great story too.... :) leaves me wondering what life you expect one :) or already had one :)
*MugY* I just added an entry to my blog. [#] "Invalid ItemOpen in new Window. I am in mourning for one of my characters. Plus a few pictures of my inspiration. I hope you all enjoy! *Hug*Marie
*CoffeeP* So... I hear voices! Even before I read about dialogue and how to try and make it like a scene and play the characters. I hear the dialogue in my head and try to describe it on paper. I'm on a difficult chapter and I've been trying to force the voices to talk. *Tower* It wasn't working. So, I lay down and try to nap. Maybe the voices will appear in twilight like they sometimes do. No...this isn't working.

After half of the day the voices finally started. Ok cool. I looked at the clock. I had fifteen minutes *Clock* to get something on paper (computer) before I had to leave and get my daughter off of the school bus. I didn't get very far but magically I got a very rough draft out before my body was giving out. I just awoke from a fine nap.

*PenB*How do the voices come for you?

I'm am thinking there is that one word no matter how much you try to teach a child she just will not get right: With Emily it's EXTINCT.

We were speaking of the Fluffy Pink Unicorn and she says, "They are instinct *FacePalm* like the dinosaurs." I do not know how many times I've corrected this. *Rolling*

I have completed and polished my first chapter of my novel. #2112439 Super excited.
Sitting here on a Wednesday morning after a blizzard. My morning cup of sunshine is tasting really good right now.

Like I have said before I am writing a novel. I have been working hard on it and it's paying off with the reviews I've been getting thus far on the opening chapter. I do have a few changes to make but for the most part the backstory is not going to be altered as I've done what I set out to do with setting my stage.

Now comes the narration part. What is my protagonist doing while he's remembering all of this back story? Quite honestly I have three ways written down that I can go. The fourth is already started. Working it into the back story is the challenge and I love a great challenge so I will be doing so this week.

I can do this! I want to note to those who have reviewed my item I have a great amount of gratitude for you all. I chose not to take any form of critique negatively. All critique is good critique. It's how I grow as an author and writer. I want this book published. Right now it's all but publishing worthy. Not only this I want this book to sell. If I take anything to heart that is blown.

I hope you all have a sparkling day and keep writing. It only gets better with practice.

Love,
Marie
