Hi everyone. After years of trying to figure out what the heck I'm doing, or going to do I should say, with my figurative ink, and...after resting in relative lifelessness here on the platform for ever, it just this minute dawned on me that maybe if I were to get more active HERE something might pop.
I started blogging around 2011 shortly before self-publishing my book "To Play Another Day" to get started in some direction or other. It seems like the main obstacle to ny really digging in and start pitching is lack of exposure to criticism and review. Well not to mention the "F" words - Fear & Failure.

Being a bit of an anarchist at heart - not the violent type, more the get the government out of my pants kind - finding an audience for my passion has been a paper tiger of sorts. There are p-l-e-n-t-y of hideous blogs out there with lots of conspiracy theory content, half baked bulls***, and just plain disinformation to go around.

Formatting is another area that seems to suck for the old time bloggers. I've been guilty too. I mean, it did seem kind of hard to read the green font on the red background, but I forged ahead anyway and haven't taken the time to edit that post. Nobody is looking and I'm busy right?

Quora is one of my favorite platforms to express and it seems that more often than not my words lead to a warning that We The People must awaken to our chains before we can't. Or is it already too late? I get that "None are so blind as those who refuse to see". Patrick Henry's DNA seems to have found its way into my viens.

So now I'll ask for your patience as I learn how to hone this craft; That I may sail away into that alluring sunrise of promise. To the elusive freedom of time, money, and location enjoyed by the practiced and polished creative - laughing and crying across the bounding mains of joy and fulfillment.

Do you find self discipline an obstacle like I do? I'm reading "Getting Things Done" by David Allen. I have a day planner and use it not consistently. I've installed a terrific open source "To Do" app that looks super useful and comes complete with a learning curve that only a rock climber can grasp (pun intended)

Praise the Maker that I'm not a quitter. I usually get fired. If you've followed along this far - thank you. See you around.
