I have a poem I want to post, but I'm unsure what it should be rated. It doesn't have any vulgar words, it doesn't have any violence or graphic language, per se, but it's still a dark poem about a miscarriage. Does anyone have any advice? I've read the content rating descriptions and I still can't figure out how to place it.
Can you link the poem here? {R-item:XXX} XXX is the ID number of the poem.

While the "Content Rating System (CRS)Open in new Window. is the best resource, it has many parallels to the American movie rating system from the MPA, if you're familiar with that:

         E would be G-rated
         ASR would be PG
         13+ would be PG-13
         18+ would be R
         GC+/XGC+ would be NC-17

When in doubt, you can always rate something higher if you want to play it safe. For example, if something I create is on the line between 13+ and 18+, I'll set it to 18+ just to avoid having any potential issues with ratings concerns.
WakeUpAndLive~"HoHoHo" Author Icon & Jeff Author Icon, the item I was questioning was a backup plan for a contest I entered. Thankfully, I found the piece I'd planned to post originally.

I've been struggling to come up with a story for March's prompt at the lovely "StAG Firebox - Closed for judging!Open in new Window.. I even borrowed the ebook of Tim Power's The Anubis Gates after I learned it was one of the earliest steampunk novels.(It was amazing and not at all what I think of as steampunk nowadays!) So I popped back onto the contest page last night and read this entry: "FugitiveOpen in new Window. by Beholden Author Icon. Y'all, it's so good! So consider this a recommendation for Beholden's entry, the contest, and Tim Power's book. Enjoy and happy weekend!
I'm so tired, from either a fibromyalgia flare or a flare with some underlying cause. It's hard to move and at times I can't even focus my eyes well enough to read for very long. Have you ever had time to write or review but for some reason outside of your control been physically unable to do it? How do you cope?

This is going out on a limb for me, but I'm enjoying re-engaging with the WdC community after having disappeared for 10+ years. Thanks to the encouragement by Schnujo's NOT Doing NaNoWriMo Author IconMail Icon , I'm trying to participate in "The Contest ChallengeOpen in new Window.. *Scared* *Scared* *Scared* Gulp!

But here I go! Posted my first entry a few minutes ago to the "Lucky Limerick ContestOpen in new Window. And I'm going to try to become more active here in the newsfeed.
