Welcome to Writing.Com! *Smile*

I'll show you how we link things here:

Everything has an item number. The item number for your new book is: 2119033.

Using something called WritingML, we can type {Bitem:2119033} and create this link:

We can create links to the book's entries in a similar way. Here's two examples:

{Entry:909440} -- "INTROOpen in new Window.

{Fentry:909440} -- INTRO from Yet another college story Open in new Window.

For more insight into linking stuff here on WDC, see WritingML Help.

Again, WELCOME TO WDC! *Smile*

Here's another little WDC tidbit...

We have something we call Trinkets...

Well, actually, The StoryMaster Author Icon, the owner of Writing.Com, gave them that name.

You can collect them. Here's an example:

Click on the image and then click "Collect". *Smile*

When you've collected it, you get to see the extra words I put inside it...

Some trinkets here have beautiful pictures and well-written messages. This one has short and sweet directions about what you need to do to be successful on this site. *Wink*
