Yes, yes, yes. Are you feeling better? Good to see some Nano words coming along. I hope your story is coming along. Happy writing vibes are coming your way - Team Black style. Healthy vibes too.
I will be if I can ever get rid of all this congestion. My chickens did not get fed yesterday, so I have to go out today, like it or not. Glad you are better as well. BTW, I was a huge Davy Jones fan as well. I used to think I would marry him.LOL
Hopefully you're feeling better soon. I've gone a round of something myself. No fun.
I have been hit with a very bad virus. I have not been able to write in the last few days. Hopefully I will be up and running soon. Thanks for reading. Kitty
I hope you're feeling better soon!
I was sick for 2 weeks with sinus/allergies. I'm so glad to be well!
I got back from my surgery to replace my pump today. Feeling pretty crummy at the moment. I am not supposed to lift more than five pounds, but I still have to feed the chickens. It is 10:30 p.m. here and have to try to go do this in the dark with a five inch slice in my abdomen. Ugh!
Kitty.... like Chanon,I see you in the healing hut and garden. There is a white energy light surrounding you.

Thank you for thinking of me. I will heal and be up and going very soon. I am working hard on the second Wheezer book and also trying to think of what the third story should be based on. Let me know if you have any ideas. It has to carry on with the same characters in the same area. And it must have something to do with the plight of the Cherokee. Thanks Kitty
I have made some major changes to the first chapter of Wheezer and the Show Coyote. I think it will hold the reader now and get them to want to read the rest. This is something to consider in this age of ebooks, especially on Amazon where they allow the shopper to read the first twenty pages of your book before they buy. If you don't get them in that first twenty pages, then you have defeated yourself. I am told that the first in the series was compelling and I want the second to be the same.
Working hard to stay focused on writing the second installment of the Wheezer stories, Wheezer And The Shy Coyote. This book has taken a darker turn, because as I researched the Whiskey Wars in Arkansas in 1840, I have found a dark secret of how the white man was able to subdue the Indian Nations. Under the influence of alcohol, the Nations lost the ability to join together to fight the intruders. Alcohol caused them to become vulnerable to being taken advantage of at every turn.
Oh, I forgot to mention that my first book signing went very well. I sold 31 books and an invite for the next book. Yeah!
I am going to be working on the second Wheezer novel in the series for NaNo. I had started working on it and then my publisher said it would be nice work on it for NaNo. So I stopped until NaNo starts. I don't mind because NaNo is so inspiring, it makes everything better. Those of you who have never done NaNo, you should give it a try. Even if you don't make 50,000 by the end of November, it is still worth it. Last year I only made it to 25,000 but kept going after. The result is Wheezer #1.
I want to thank all of the WDC members who reviewed Wheezer And The Painted Frog. It is doing well on Amazon.com and other venues. The print version will be out in a couple of weeks. For those who wish to check it out, you can at: http://www.amazon.com/Wheezer-Painted-Mysteries-Trail-ebook/dp/B005N0PTT4/ref=sr...
I am nervous, my first published novel will be out the 15th. My publisher is doing a great job of getting the word out, but I have no idea what to expect. Wheezer is nervous too. He has no idea how he is going to hold a pen at the book signings. I think he is opting for a pad of ink he plans to step on, then place his paw on the book. He is not too keen on it since his paw may be permanently dyed. My hubby says I am going to have to practice a new signature. No one can read my writing.LOL

Wow congratulations!! I'm sure it'll all work out and best of wishes to you. May I ask, what's the name of your book?
Yes, the name of the book is, Wheezer And The Painted Frog. It is a historical fiction Native American murder mystery.
LOL....Wheezer!!!
Shhhhh....(whisper)He is still one of my favorite characters.Such a celebrity now, eh?
I can't believe that I just won the Native Peoples Picture Prompt Contest for Ohwega And The Eagle. I am flabbergasted to say the least.
Congrats on your promotion, I just noticed, *Blush*. I think I would have noticed earlier had you been reviewing in my time slot, like I've seen you in the past.
Thank you so much. I had no idea that so many other writers cared about this. I am excited to learn more about all of your writing as well.
