Writing a monologue and am getting deeper and deeper into the character's shoes to get it just right. I hope.

A method writer? *Smile* I'm sure it will turn out well if you're really invested in the character.
Sometimes a photograph can also inspire to write a story, or, even a short story.
Best to talk.

Hi! Saw an Indian name on the newsfeed and thought I'd drop by. (Saw on your bio that you're not located in India, though!). Anyway, just saying HI!
When a thought has come into your mind, or you have seen something that you feel that you may be able to use in your writing, make a note of it if you have pen and paper handy. If not, then use a recording device, such as your mobile and record it and then read it, or, listen, or watch it when you feel that it is appropriate to use. I do this whenever I can and especially when I am travelling.
Many people think that if you have not written anything for a long time, you have stopped writing. What many don't realise is that this is not always true! It could be that you are just taking a break, or, you are researching for your next article or story. Depending on what you are doing, it can take time. Let people think what they want as you know what is the truth and what you are really doing.
When I sit down to write, I have a plan in mind and start. If it is a short story, then I just type away until the end. If it is not, well, I just write a plan by each part / chapter. Sometimes, if I don't have a pad or a pen, or a PC / laptop nearby, I use my mobile to make the notes and then write it out properly.
When looking for inspiration, I look at the surroundings that I am in. Then I try and remember my past as well.
I have not given up writing but am working and researching on a topic at the moment.
Some may disagree with me and some may not. But Poetry does not have to rhyme.
Sometimes thoughts just flow through my mind and, instead of grabbing a pad and a pen, I take out my mobile and write what I have just thought about. But really a pen and a small pad is better as one can lose their phone, battery goes flat if its not charged. Alternatively, one can forget to save - and you have just lost it. So pad and pen is better.
Some people think that I am being anti - social when I tell them that I need to do some thinking and go into the study and start making notes on my work - on what I want to write about or take a photograph of and look for information.
Going to a local readers group on Monday to readout some other work.
Looking at writing a bit on a personal level - sometimes taunting and drains a lot of energy and especially since its based on a friend's family and does include me at times.
