| What would be best when creating an item? Should I set the rating/review preference to rating requires review, or keep it unrestricted? |
| It depends what you want. Do you want to know why people rated the way they did? Will you be comfortable if you get a low star rating without an explanation? Are you hoping you get more ratings than reviews? Can you accept the likelihood of fewer ratings in exchange for more feedback? There is no wrong answer. It's a function of what you hope to achieve, and what level of uncertainty you can tolerate. |
