This weekend BEVERLY CLEARY passed on at the age of 104, may she rest in peace. Her books delighted and captivated millions of children, myself included. As writers, she reminds us all that story comes first, always. Though I loved the HENRY HUGGINS series, I think my favorite Cleary book was either RIBSY or THE MOUSE AND THE MOTORCYCLE. What was your favorite? |
Ribsy was my favorite. He was a dog and I loved this series. |
I remember reading all her books about Ramona (can't remember the name of the series) when I was in elementary school. I remember going to the public library with my Mom and checking the books out. She wrote some awesome books! |
