Anyway, to try again, I've noticed that when you edit your item, you can't add a picture like you originally could.
Anyway, to post the pic, you need to create a new note.
Optionally, you can make an image item. Maybe you did this? If not, maybe you want to? You go as you normally would, to your port and get set to create a new item, but instead of choosing Static Item, choose Image (under Upgraded membership options). When making this, to upload the image, you'll do it as if you were creating a cover photo. Click the square on the far left where the cover photos normally go. It will allow you to either drag and drop or upload from your computer. Naturally, you still need to go through all the rest...create a title, description, blah, blah, blah.
When you create the image, you can then post it on the Newsfeed. In fact, you can edit this note as described above and put it here.
