Happy anniversary
I've added a new item to my portfolio:
Tales from the World of Annaxi Open in new Window. (18+)
Some stories from the people and places mentioned in the story of Annaxi.

Since I've been so darn slow posting more of Annaxi's story, I decided it was only fair to add a few stories of the people and places in it.

Enjoy!
Happy birthday 🎂
Happy anniversary 🎉

A new installment of Annaxi's story, now about 1/3 of the way along.
I've added a new item to my portfolio:
Annaxi (Parts 15 thru 17) (Part 17: GC) Open in new Window. (GC)
A young woman is pulled into a plot and framed for murder in a high fantasy adventure.
.

It probably doesn't make much sense unless you read parts 1 through 14 first, though.
I've added a new item to my portfolio:
Writing prompt, on traps. Open in new Window. (E)
Apropos of nothing. Dialogue from a story that suddenly needed to find a new setting.

It's just a bit of dialogue that came up in one story, and it suddenly needed a more dramatic home. Now maybe it's a prompt for someone! :D
I've started posting my writing after a good decade of writer's block.

It's a fantasy thriller adventure which hopefully will grow into a novel or series; there's decades of my subconscious churning out stories I have been writing in my head since I was a teenager. At present rate, at least 500 pages of material (Annaxi is at 45 pages in my word processor, and her story is less than a quarter written). Rating of the main novel so far is GC, because there are less than pleasant people doing less than pleasant things. I might back it off later, depending on feedback, but I would prefer to err on the side of caution.

I've just edited an item in my portfolio:
Aurigae Series Review Guidance Open in new Window. (18+)
Notes for items in this universe; it's no Silmarillion.

Bear in mind the intro is a bit of a ramble where I am the narrator. I'll probably swap to third person and leave myself out in future writes/rewrites. Or maybe I should stay in? They are MY dreams after all. ;) Really I'd like to get some people reading at the beginning and get some feedback because I've never written long pieces or high fantasy. I'd like to know what's good before I have to revise a few hundred pages of it...

Oh, and it's good to see you all again, I hope I'll be catching up with familiar faces (and new ones!)
