What a morning already. I woke up at 4:44am exactly with the "old mans Bladder" and got up out of bed to take care of nature. I returned to bed just in time to look over at the Mirror and there stood our Ghost Jacob. He looked in the Mirror.
         I said, "Good Morning Jacob."
He giggled and said, "It's too early." then vanished.

I then tested my blood sugar level and it was at a normal 107.
I am now working on another chapter of my story.
GREAT DAY IN THE MORNING!!
I can't believe that I been a member here for over 11 years. There was a time that I gave up writing here because of work and family. I had a few personal set backs because of health, but I am glad this site is still here.
I have been inspired by the writer's cramp. daily flash fiction, weekly Goals and all the small 2 - 3 word captions in the Newsfeed.
There is enough here to keep the creative juices flowing.
akaluv You got a friend now. *Hug*
I just added a short story (really short) as part of a 300 word or less challenge. Hope you enjoy.
Wish upon a falling star Open in new Window. (13+)
A young Boy who has lost his mother quite recently looks to the stars for comfort.

I just updated a story that I wrote for a writer's cramp contest entry. I of course did not win, but that didn't matter to me much. What matters is, I love the challenge of coming up with something out of nowhere based on just a word, picture or a phrase.

It is titled "this is not the end of the story."
This is not the end of the story Open in new Window. (E)
When a man is at the end of his life, comes to the realization that death is not the end.

Please enjoy. More to come.
I just installed the new Google translator on the phone. OMG it is so addicting. Now I can read what people are saying in many languages.
It translates text, you can speak into the program and it will translate the language into English or English into another language.
It also can take a picture of any language and with the touch of the screen, you can read the language. It is so cool.

This that and other crap. LOL

Well today was a busy day here at the homestead. We have been cleaning as part of our spring cleaning weekend. doing a deep cleaning of the rugs is what was really needed. Shampooed the rugs as well.

Fun fun fun till her daddy took here T-bird away. ROFLOL Now we are having pizza and Brussel sprouts.

With fresh Sprouts I usually shred them like cabbage, (which is what they are actually) saute in garlic and olive oil. Add some cooked chopped Bacon. Use this to top a Ruben Sandwich. OMG so good.
We don't have Rueben sandwiches here (in New Zealand) but I often shred them to add them to stir fries. Sound delicious with bacon, will have to try that one!
Oh a Ruben sandwich is so good and easy to make. just a few slices of Corned Beef, Shredded Cabbage with a Mayonnaise, ketchup and Pickle Relish Sauce mixed in the Cabbage.
Again, I use the Shredded Brussel sprouts sautéed with Bacon. It is served on Rye Bread. MMM
I have been upgraded!

I checked my email this morning and there was a message that said that someone had gifted an upgrade to my account here, I need to say thank you to whomever did this most kindest act.
I am on an extremely limited income because of having a disability of a Heart condition. (two Heart attacks) The heart has been damaged because of this, so I suffer with water retention on my body.
I also have Diabetes type 2 which has damaged my legs to the point that I can not stand on them for more than twenty minutes then I start to have pain in them.
So, what this all means and boils down to is, I am so grateful for whomever had upgraded me. Thank you so very much,

BIG HUGS!!
I just wrote a short story based on a Prompt for a contest for the writers cramp.

Hope you have a great day.
I had a strange dream last night.
In the dream, I was sitting at a train station with a ticket in my hand and waiting for the train. I could not read the ticket the letters were all fuzzy and jumbled.
I made my way to the ticket booth and asked this guy what my ticket said and when the train was to arrive. The man looked at the ticket and said, "the next train will not for you, but if you want to get on the next train, you can. It is up to you."
I went back to my seat and waited. The station began to fill quickly with people and I saw a couple people that I thought I knew. So, as I sat waiting, I felt like I needed to eat, and in my dream I became weak and started to shake violently.
I woke up out of that dream and I felt weak. I did a blood sugar test and it was sitting at 46. for those that do not know at 30 a diabetic could die.
It is my belief that had I waited in that dream and went on the train, I would have never woke up. But I did and I am so grateful I did.
