Hello back at you! I just read your post in "Noticing Newbies". I just started in April and still feel pretty new.

Good luck with your novel. I have a children's book about done and keep struggling regarding self-publishing vs. finding an agent/publisher. I'm going to a writing conference this coming weekend and might make some good connections there. I also have a YA lit historical fiction work with a good start and a lot of historical research done plus yet to do. I think that the shorter tasks in WdC are helping me to write more consistently and to work on more variety.

Do you have any favorite groups or contests here so far?

(I won't bore you here with my personal story.....my portfolio has it.)
