Oh Marie, how sad for you indeed!...

But as a married man of now 46 years... I will share a few secrets about life. First, you must understand that all men are pigs (not dogs; canines tend to be loyal and always forgiving... they worry about your feelings and injuries.) While swine tend to be self-centered. They have a heightened sensitivity to environmental and/or social stress. Are the first to run to get out of the rain and look for ways to avoid conflict. They are highly competitive for anything they see as benefiting them. And when their bellies are full they lay around doing nothing until someone or thing signals food is near.

Pigs do form emotional ties to their mates but prefer they stay in the background unless the boar discovers it's cold or they sniff the chance their sow is amenable to sex! And though they are not all that good at parenting, they will give up their lives to protect their herd.

So, the first thing you need to do is stop looking for the Hollywood/Hallmark men. They do not exist!! Next, try using a few of the things that have allowed others to be together for long durations without homicidal thoughts and or actions.

Here is another example of my wife's prowlious in managing me and her expectations.

However... cases could become more problematic as the present federal administration has given notice that only white cis-gender heterosexual 3rd generation married males (preferably sexually active) deserve unquestioned human rights... everyone else is suspect. Hard to fight for someone's rights if they have none.
