Wishing a very Happy Mothers' Day to all of you moms. I feel that every day is mothers' day in one way or the other. If you are lucky enough to have a happy family, feel blessed and enjoy every day you have with them. The time passes so quickly and then you are gone. Live, love, and laugh each day. |
Right on! And to you too |
Spring is here, and you can find me in the garden, planting or just admiring my hard work. This year I am planting a vegetable garden, too. The price of groceries keeps going up so I decided to grow fresh, organic vegetables. This not only saves me money, but is better for my health as well. I plan to blog about my new ventures, so check out my blog site. |
Nothing worse than sitting in your pjs, drinking that first cup of coffee, when you get called in to work. The joys of working at a twenty-four hour business, and you can't say no. The pits.............. |
How about when you just get done with a twelve-hour shift on an ambulance, drive 30 minutes to your home, exhausted, and as you are getting ready to undress and literally fall into bed your cell phone rings, or the plectron tones, and you find yourself automatically racing out the door to another call. Although I'm retired now (and not by choice), I find myself actually missing that. THAT is NOT normal. |
It only takes one smile to offer welcome...... and blessed be the person who will share it. It only takes one moment to be helpful....... and blessed be the person who will spare it. It only takes one joy to lift a spirit...... and blessed be the person who will give it. It only takes one life to make a difference..... and blessed be the person who will live it. This quote is featured in a book by BJ Gallagher. May this thanksgiving be a blessed day for all. |
