The Fabs, a successful, Welsh, girl group of the 60s and 70s. When I say girl group, they were all musicians as well as singers, not like today’s, computer enhanced singer, girl groups. Roger Daltry of the Who, once said to one them: Sarah Wrigley ,“ you’re good, but won’t get anywhere because you are girls”. Sadly true. There were many British groups making it big and the Fabs were as good as most of them, and better than some, but being girls were often dismissed. How sad is that.? They were very successful as live singers in Britain as well as many countries worldwide including Mexico and did a charity event in the San Francisco. They often entertained U.S. troops in Europe. Check them out, they deserve it.

Just think of the people ("girls" included) who were/are also amazing scientists, mathematicians, doctors, physicists, archaeologists, biologists of all kinds, etc. (don't forget writers) who were (and are still being) dismissed because of their body parts. We really haven't come far.
