I know you just said you don't have time, but just for future reference, there is a thing called NaNoWriMo, National Novel Writing Month. I think the link is https://www.nanowrimo.org. No pressure to succeed, but people try to write a 50,000 word novel in a month. It's not supposed to be a completed, polished work, but it gives you a huge head start on one. NaNo is a time commitment, if you intend to legitimately try to finish. Though many people participate for the fun and camaraderie, knowing they won't make 50k. Anyway, if you have a story idea, we have NaNo Prep on this site. (NaNoWriMo is a world-wide event.) It takes about 15 minutes a day and has a different activity each day to help you figure out your story and characters and such. Someone recently said they were glad they did prep because it made NaNo "a breeze," so whether you participate in NaNo or not, maybe finding 15 minutes a day to do Prep might be something you want to do. You can at least flesh out ideas for that great novel you one day plan to write...if you have any ideas at the moment. You can always prep now and write in 5 years.
Anyway, welcome to the site. Write and hang out as much or as little as you want!
