Thank you! I did stop by and say hello in as many words or less as I was permitted. It's a nice little place to sit down and let the fingers uncross. Thanks for the welcome!
You are welcome. I'm so glad you came to visit the coffee lounge. It seems you have many people who are willing to help so you are well on your way for a successful WDC stay. Good luck.

By the way, I did a review on one of your stories, "My Best Friend Frog." I like your writing style.

thank you! I like exploring. I keep losing things I was interested in and have to hunt them down, but for the most part I'm keeping up with it. It is an experience.

I like your review philosophy!

By the way... "or even what those numbers by your name mean"... you're about to know. Those numbers are "community recognition". You get them for receiving Merit Badges, the number of years on the site, and a few other factors. Click someone's number and you can see the break down.

Welcome to WDC! :)

Thank you very much! I cringe at the thought of moderators or the wrong person going to the right one with a fully justifiable complaint: she was mean to me. I intend to stick around as long as they are willing to tolerate me.

I got over my fear and started reading about the numbers. Badges, that sounds delightful. I will read more about it as I explore the website. Thanks for the welcome!

You would have to harrass someone pretty badly before a moderator or staff member would write to you about it. I have never heard of anyone getting into trouble for the occasional snippy remark-- particularly if it is about someone's writing. Of course, I tend to avoid that sort of thing anyway. Hurt feeling happen, but I tend to think writer's need to grow a thicker skin.

I agree.
