The Brahmavidya practitioners’ qualities...are like this below.

Brahmin- the one with Brahma knowledge.
Who is with Brahmavidya oriented practicable knowledge, is called Brahmin.
Such a Brahmin will be taking insults and humiliations regarding Brahmavidya Sadhan, as Param Amrit. As these will be reducing growing up ego in him...!!!
And he will take praises and humiliations as Kaalkoot Vish or deadly poison.
Because praises will make a person egoistic.

Why it is like this? Is the question of the neo-seeker or modern day truth seekers and modern day Bhagawan seekers.

Because ..praises are giving happiness to mind. Why should we deny this happiness? Is the question of the seekers.

Yes true, praises are giving happiness, but praises are raising Ego of the human beings. Egoistic humans are not good humans. We all know that.
So which is raising the wrong happiness in humans is wrong for humans.

So Brahmavidya oriented Brahmin is against this wrong happiness or unhappiness bringing badkarma oriented bad-happiness in him.!!!

for those who are practicing Brahmavidya, for them Humiliations and insults will be sizing up the humans. And they will become humble in their Sadhan.
As always humble people will be learning more...
This is of course inside learning. ..
This is Not the external technology skills oriented western education....!!! As this technical is not at all education only.
It is just a “bread earning skills” teaching procedure....!!!!

But remember this rule is not for the nowadays people who ever are not practicing Brahmavidya.

Even for learning externally also... if a person is egotistical he will never be into learning mode.
He will stop bending and asking questions.!!!
So no learning only.

That’s why these days people are not having any proper knowledge, regarding “human insides” neither about themselves, nor about their surrounding people’s insides,
that is why sooo many psychological problems in humans.
All this is because of this lack of “inside human” knowledge oriented education...!!!!

Once in Persia reigned a king,
Who upon his signet ring
Graved a maxim true and wise,
Which, if held before his eyes,
Gave him counsel at a glance
Fit for every change and chance.

Solemn words and these are they;
“Even this shall pass away.”

Trains of camels through the sand
Brought him gems from Samarcand;
Fleets of galleys through the seas
Brought him pearls to match with these;
But he counted not his gain
Treasures of the mine or main;
“What is wealth?” the king would say;
“Even this shall pass away.”

‘Mid the revels of his court,
At the zenith of his sport,
When the palms of all his guests
Burned with clapping at his jests,
He, amid his figs and wine,
Cried, “O loving friends of mine;
Pleasures come, but do not stay;
‘Even this shall pass away.’”

Lady, fairest ever seen,
Was the bride he crowned the queen.
Pillowed on his marriage bed,
Softly to his soul, he said:
“Though no bridegroom ever pressed
Fairer bossom to his breast,
Mortal flesh must come to clay –
Even this shall pass away.”

Fighting on a furious field,
Once a javelin pierced his shield;
Soldiers, with a loud lament,
Bore him bleeding to his tent.
Groaning from his tortured side,
“Pain is hard to bear,” he cried;
“But with patience, day by day,
Even this shall pass away.”

Towering in the public square,
Twenty cubits in the air,
Rose his statue, carved in stone.
Then the king, disguised, unknown,
Stood before his sculptured name,
Musing meekly: “What is fame?
Fame is but a slow decay;
Even this shall pass away.”

Struck with palsy, sore and old,
Waiting at the Gates of Gold,
Said he with his dying breath,
“Life is done, but what is Death?”
Then, in answer to the king,
Fell a sunbeam on his ring,
Showing by a heavenly ray,
“Even this shall pass away.”

1. A doctor friend came to me to chat and said that the weather was very hot. Under the sun, it could reach 40 degrees C.

He said: At 40 degrees, if you drink ice water in an instant, the micro blood vessels could explode. One of his friends just went into the house to wash his feet with cold water. Then his eyes could not see clearly, and he passed out. Only the ears could hear the sound. He was terrified!

2. The temperature in some places has reached 38 degrees C or higher, but the temperature of the body sense should be higher. The danger is not just with drinking ice cold water. The same danger may occur with even washing hands / washing your face / washing your feet. You must not subject any part of the hot body to temperature shock with cold water.

You need about 30 minutes to allow the body to cool down and adjusted to the indoor temperature. Drink natural temperature water / luke- warm water of around 34 to 36 degrees C.

3. There is a very strong man. The doctor had examined him in the hospital about three years ago.
He met the man again and was surprised to find that he had a stroke. He was in a bad condition. The man told the doctor, " Recently, on a hot day, upon returning home, in order to quickly cool off from the heat, I immediately took a cold shower. I felt that I could not move my jaws properly. I immediately called an ambulance to send me to the hospital. That saved my life."

*Remember, especially on a hot day, avoid fridge water or ice-cold water to cool off as it will cause rapid contraction of blood vessels.*

Adults with young children at home should inform their helpers about this.

●The weather is abnormal recently. It may be nice to have a cold drink to cool down, but it is very dangerous! Avoid gulping down the drink, drink it slowly.

Please pass this safety message to your family and friends.

It may save a life!

"Man is like a puppet. The strings of his habits, emotions, passions, and senses make him dance to their bidding. They bind his soul.

Each of your habits creates a specific "groove," or pathway, in the brain. These patterns make you behave in a certain way, often against your wish.

Your life follows those grooves that you yourself have created in the brain. In that sense you are not a free person; you are more or less a victim of the habits you have formed.

Depending on how set those patterns are, to that degree you are a puppet. But you can neutralize the dictates of those bad habits.

How?

By creating brain patterns of opposite good habits.

And you can completely erase the grooves of bad habits by meditation. There is no other way.

However, you can't cultivate good habits without good company and good environment.

And you can't free yourself from bad habits without good company and meditation."

If you would free yourself of the sufferings of Samsara, you must learn the direct way to become a Buddha.
This way is no other than the realization of your own Mind.
Now, what is this Mind?
It is the true nature of all sentient beings, that which existed before our parents were born and hence before our own birth, and which presently exists, unchangeable and eternal. So it is called one's Face before one's parents were born. This Mind is intrinsically pure. When we are born it is not newly created, and when we die it does not perish. It has no distinction of male or female, nor has it any coloration of good or bad. It cannot be compared with anything, so it is called Buddha-nature, Yet, countless thoughts issue from this Self-nature as waves arise in the ocean or as images are reflected in a mirror.

If you want to realize your own Mind, you must first of all look into the source from which thoughts flow. Sleeping and working, standing and sitting, profoundly ask yourself,
"What is my own Mind?' with an intense yearning to resolve this question. This is called “training" or "practice" or "desire for truth" or "thirst for realization.”
What is termed zazen is no more than looking into one's own mind, it is better to search your own mind devotedly than to read and recite innumerable sutras and dharani every day for countless years.
Such endeavors, which are but formalities, produce some merit, but this merit expires and again you must experience the suffering of the Three Evil Paths. Because searching one's own mind leads ultimately to enlightenment, this practice is a prerequisite to becoming a Buddha.
No matter whether you have committed either the ten evil deeds or the five deadly sins, still if you turn back your mind and enlighten yourself, you are a Buddha instantly.
But do not commit sins and expect to be saved by enlightenment [from the effects of your own actions.] Neither enlightenment nor a Buddha nor a Patriarch can save a person who, deluding himself, goes down evil ways.

Imagine a child sleeping next to its parents and dreaming it is being beaten or is painfully sick. The parents cannot help the child no matter how much it suffers, for no one can enter the dreaming mind of another, if the child could awaken itself, it could be freed of this suffering automatically.
In the same way, one who realizes that his own Mind is Buddha frees himself instantly from the sufferings arising from (ignorance of the law of) ceaseless change of birth-and-death. If a Buddha could prevent it, do you think he would allow even one sentient being to fall into hell?
Without Self-realization, one cannot understand such things as these.

What kind of master is it that this very moment sees colors with the eyes and hears voices with the ears, that now raises the hands and moves the feet?
We know these are functions of our own mind, but no one knows probably how they are performed. It may be asserted that behind these actions there is no entity, yet it is obvious they are being performed spontaneously. Conversely, it may be maintained that these are the acts of some entity; still, the entity is invisible.

If one regards this question as unfathomable, all attempts to reason [out an answer] will cease and one will be at a loss to know what to do.
In this propitious state deepen and deepen the yearning, tirelessly, to the extreme. When the profound questioning penetrates to the very bottom and that bottom is broken open, not the slightest doubt will remain that your own Mind is itself Buddha, the Void-universe.
There will then be no anxiety about life or death, no truth to search for.

In a dream, you may stray and lose your way home. You ask someone to show you how to return or you pray to God or Buddhas to help you, but still, you can't get home. Once you rouse yourself from your dream-state however, you find that you are in your own bed and realize that the only way you could have gotten home was to awaken yourself.
This [kind of spiritual awakening] is called "return to the origin" or "rebirth in paradise.' It is the kind of inner realization that can be achieved with some training. Virtually all who like zazen and make an effort in practice, be they laymen or monks, can
experience to this degree. But even such (partial) awakening cannot be attained except through the practice of zazen. You would be making a serious error, however, were you to assume that this was true enlightenment in which there is no doubt about the nature of reality.
You would be like a man who has found copper gives up the desire for gold.

Upon such realization question yourself even more intensely in this wise: "My body is like a phantom, like bubbles on a stream. My mind, looking into itself, is as formless as empty-space, yet somewhere within sounds are perceived.

Who is hearing?"
Should you question yourself in this wise with profound absorption, never slackening the intensity of your effort, your rational mind eventually will exhaust
itself and only questioning at the deepest level will remain.
Finally, you will lose awareness of your own body, Your long-held conceptions and notions will perish, after absolute questioning, in the
way that every drop of water vanishes from a tub broken open at the bottom, and perfect enlightenment will follow like flowers suddenly blooming on withered trees.

With such realization, you achieve true emancipation. But even now repeatedly cast off what has been realized, turning back to the subject that realizes, that is, to the root bottom, and resolutely go on.
Your Self-nature will then grow brighter and more transparent as your delusive feelings perish, like a gem gaining luster under repeated polishing, until at last it positively illumines the entire universe.
Don't doubt this! Should your yearning be too weak to lead you to this state in your present lifetime, you will undoubtedly gain Self-realization easily in the next, provided you are still engaged in this questioning at death, just as yesterday’s work half done was finished easily today.

While you are doing zazen neither despise nor cherish the thoughts that arise; only search your own mind, the very source of these thoughts. You must understand that anything appearing in your consciousness or seen by your eyes is an illusion, of no enduring reality. Hence you should neither fear nor be fascinated by such phenomena. If you keep your mind as empty as space, unstained by extraneous matters, no evil spirits can disturb you even on your death bed. While engaged in zazen, however, keep none of this counsel in mind.

You must only become the question "What is this Mind?" or "'What is it that hears these sounds?"
When you realize this Mind you will know that it is the very source of all Buddhas and sentient beings. The Bodhisattva Kannon is so called because he attained enlightenment by perceiving (i.e., grasping the source of] the sounds of the world about him.

At work, at rest, never stop trying to realize who it is that hears. Even though your questioning becomes almost unconscious, you won't find the one who hears, and all your efforts will come to naught. Yet sounds can be heard, so question yourself to an even profounder level. At last every vestige of self-awareness will disappear and you will feel like a cloudless sky. Within yourself you will find no "I," nor will you discover anyone who hears. This Mind is like the void, yet it hasn't a single spot that can be called empty. This state is often mistaken for Self-realization. But continue to ask yourself even more intensely,
"Now who is it that hears?"
If you bore and bore into this question, oblivious to anything else, even this feeling of voidness will vanish and you will be unaware of anything - total darkness will prevail. (Don't stop here, but) keep asking with all your strength, "What is it that hears?" Only when you have completely exhausted the questioning, will the question burst; now you will feel like a man come back from the dead. This is true realization. –

You will see the Buddhas of all the universes face to face and the Patriarchs past and present.

Test yourself with this koan: "A monk asked Joshu: "What is. the meaning of Bodhidharma’'s coming to China?” Joshu replied: 'The oak tree in the garden ".
Should this koan leave you with the slightest doubt, you need to resume the questioning, “What is it that hears?"

If you don't come to realization in this present life, when will you? Once you have died you won't be able to avoid a long period of suffering in the Three Evil Paths.
What is obstructing realization?
Nothing but your own half-hearted desire for truth. Think of this and exert yourself to the utmost.

The Japanese government has decided to dispose of all the " *microwave ovens*" in the country before the end of this year n all citizens n organizations that do not meet the requirement, are threatened with fines n prison terms.

The reason for the ban on "microwave ovens" in the land of the Rising Sun was a research by scientists from the University of Hiroshima, where they discovered that "radio waves" cause greater harm to the health of citizens over 20 years, especially when using microwave oven which is more harmful than the American atomic bombs on Hiroshima n Nagasaki in Sept 1945.

According to experts, food heated in a microwave oven has very unhealthy vibrations and radiation.

Indeed, all the largest manufacturers of "microwave ovens" in Japan are being closed where this product is manufactured.

In 2021, the production of "microwave ovens" will be stopped, as announced in South Korea, and China plans to abandon this type of technology in 2023.

A conference on cancer prevention was held at the Kashira Cancer Center n the recommendations made at the end of the conference was, these foodstuffs should be avoided:
1. Refined oil
2. Milk of animal origin (recommended soy milk)
3. Food cubes (chicken broth spices like Maggie and the like)
4. Soda (32 pieces of sugar per liter)
5. *Refined sugar*
6. Microwave ovens
7. Do not perform mammogram before birth, except echocardiography
8. Very narrow underwear n bra
9. Alcohol
10. Dissolving iced food and then refreezing it
11. Drinking water from the refrigerator in plastic bottles
12. Pills because it changes the hormonal system in women and causes cancer
13. Special deodorants when used after shaving because they cause cancer
14. *White Sugar* in any form (cancer cells feed mainly on sugar). Cancer patients should avoid sugar from their diet.

According to the recommendations of the conference, they advise to add these to your diet :
1. Vegetables
2. Honey moderately used instead of sugar
3. Plant proteins (beans instead of meat)
4. Two cups of water at body temperature on an empty stomach before brushing teeth
5. The food should be warm and not very hot
6. Aloe vera juice + ginger + parsley + celery + bromalin. We recommend mixing them and drinking them on an empty stomach
7. Carrot juice every day
8. Tomato, garlic n onion with meals

Note :
The American Physicians Association found answers to the cause of cancer:
1. Do not drink tea, coffee or anything hot in plastic cups
2. Do not eat anything hot wrapped in paper or cardboard or in a plastic bag (for example: fried potatoes)
3. Do not eat in plastic or microwave dishes

We wish to note the following:
When plastic is exposed to heat, chemical compounds that can cause 52 kinds of cancer are released.

Thus, you must avoid drinking all kinds of soft drinks such as "Cola, Pepsi, Av, Fanta n all concentrated juices.

Eat fresh pineapples and avoid pineapple juice mixture with Cola because this mixture is deadly as it will cause death to people as they think the reason is poisoning and they are the victims of their ignorance of this deadly cocktail!

Respond to calls through the left ear and better use headphones

Do not drink medicines with cold water

Do not eat heavy food after 7pm

Drink more water in the morning n less in the evening
Do not take a horizontal position (lying down/sleep) immediately after eating

When your phone battery is almost dead, do not pick up the phone, because this radiation is 1000 times stronger than the charged battery.

In May of 1861, 9-year-old John Lincoln "Johnny" Clem ran away from his home in Newark, Ohio, to join the Union Army, but found the Army was not interested in signing on a 9-year-old boy when the commander of the 3rd Ohio Regiment told him he "wasn't enlisting infants," and turned him down. Clem tried the 22nd Michigan Regiment next, and its commander told him the same. Determined, Clem tagged after the regiment, acted out the role of a drummer boy, and was allowed to remain. Though still not regularly enrolled, he performed camp duties and received a soldier's pay of $13 a month, a sum collected and donated by the regiment's officers.

The next April, at Shiloh, Clem's drum was smashed by an artillery round and he became a minor news item as "Johnny Shiloh, The Smallest Drummer". A year later, at the Battle Of Chickamauga, he rode an artillery caisson to the front and wielded a musket trimmed to his size. In one of the Union retreats a Confederate officer ran after the cannon Clem rode with, and yelled, "Surrender you damned little Yankee!" Johnny shot him dead. This pluck won for Clem national attention and the name "Drummer Boy of Chickamauga."

Clem stayed with the Army through the war, served as a courier, and was wounded twice. Between Shiloh and Chickamauga he was regularly enrolled in the service, began receiving his own pay, and was soon-after promoted to the rank of Sergeant. He was only 12 years old. After the Civil War he tried to enter West Point but was turned down because of his slim education. A personal appeal to President Ulysses S. Grant, his commanding general at Shiloh, won him a 2nd Lieutenant's appointment in the Regular Army on 18 December 1871, and in 1903 he attained the rank of Colonel and served as Assistant Quartermaster General. He retired from the Army as a Major General in 1916, having served an astounding 55 years.

General Clem died in San Antonio, Texas on 13 May 1937, exactly 3 months shy of his 86th birthday, and is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

The beauty of Self is that it's not a matter of acquiring anything, being held in high regard, or being seen or noticed. It's a matter of being the intrinsic beauty of what you are, that inner blessedness. To experience that deeply, just let it sink in, not as an answer but as a question.

"Could it be that this blessedness is what I am? Could I have been mistaken all along by defining myself as worthy or unworthy or as the social roles that are played in my life? Have I been mistaken and overlooked the hidden blessedness that is in the nature of each and every being?"

This blessedness seems hidden because it cannot be touched, but it is not hidden in essence. It is overlooked because we are looking only at the mind structure, and we are missing what makes the structure possible. Our structures of belief, disbelief, emotions— all of our inner and outer structures come and go.

Only the space that is awake remains. And there is a lot more space in you than there is structure.

WHAT IS POLITICS
1. What happens if a politician drowns in a river?
That is pollution.
What happens if all of them drown?
That is a solution .....!!!

2. A politician is a fellow who will lay down your life for his country.
Politics is the gentle art of getting votes
from the poor and campaign funds from the rich,
by promising to protect each from the other.
**********

A politician is a fellow who will lay down
your life for his country.
**********

I have come to the conclusion that politics is too serious
a matter to be left to the politicians.
**********

Instead of giving a politician the keys to the city,
it might be better to change the locks.

Here is a beautiful article from New York Times.While many of our own papers and tv channels deplore India, here is a view from

THE INDIAN ELECTIONS - NEW YORK TIMES

It is truly the greatest show on Earth, an ode to a diverse & democratic ethos, where 700 million + of humanity vote, providing their small part in directing their ancient civilization into the future.

It is no less impressive when done in a neighborhood which includes de-stabilizing & violent Pakistan, China, and Burma.

It's challenges are immense, more so probably than anywhere else, particularly in development & fending off terrorism -- but considering these challenges & its neighbors, it is even more astounding that the most diverse nation on Earth, with hundreds of languages, all religions & cultures, is not only surviving, but thriving.

The nation:

where Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism & Sikhism were born,

which is the second largest Muslim nation on Earth;
where Christianity has existed for 2000 years;

where the oldest Jewish synagogues & Jewish communities have resided since the Romans burnt their 2nd temple;

where the Dalai Lama & the Tibetan government in exile reside;

where the Zoroastrians from Persia have thrived since being thrown out of their ancient homeland;

where Armenians, Syrians & many others have come to live; where the Paris-based OECD said was the largest economy on Earth for 1500 of the last 2000 years, including the 2nd largest, only 200 years ago;

where 3 Muslim Presidents have been elected,

where a Sikh was Prime Minister & the head of the ruling party a Catholic Italian woman,

where the past President was also a woman, succeeding a Muslim President who as a rocket scientist is a hero in the nation;

where a booming economy is lifting 40 million out of poverty each year & is expected to have the majority of its population in the middle class already, equal to the entire US population, by 2025;

where its optimism & vibrancy is manifested in its movies, arts, economic growth & voting, despite all the incredible challenges & hardships;

where all the great powers are vying for influence, as it itself finds its place in the world.

Where all of this is happening, is India and as greater than 1/10th of humanity gets ready to vote, it is an inspiration to the entire World.
