I am also not a church goer any longer. I get a deeper emotional bond with God when I walk through a quiet forest early in the morning than I do sitting in a church with a lot of people who would rather be out fishing or shopping.
I also agree with the golden rule.... Do unto others.... I have always tried to live by that rule and I think that is the key to everlasting life.
I have to say, what you have written sounds like it came right from my very own thoughs.
Yes, I agree... very well put. I wish this were out there for all to see as it simplies the facts so that the common man can understand what is going on. The media is so full of political talk that it gets really confusing to seperate fact from fiction anymore !!
I think everyone should read this. You do a great job of detailing the issues and the candidates responses...I wish the news and media was this easy to understand.
I live in a small bubble. It is true my view of the pretty little world around me is small. I call it "shellyville" my husband can confirm this, if you don't believe me. So stepping out of my comfort zone I have to respond to this blog.
One, I think I'm republican. I think. Still not hundred percent sure because I would actually have to tell you something republican related and I don't know much. I did vote for Bush...does that count?
Ok, I don't get politics. I never have. I get what I believe in. I believe alarming like you. I want American money to stay in American...then others. I think we are the most spoiled lazy people in the world.
I actually would like Obama to be president because then we can all go crazy for 4 years talking about race and nothing else. I think what fun it would be if everyone actually had to deal with race issues. If working class actually worked. If business was done in America. We are a global nation...we need to start acting like it.
So maybe I don't make any sense. I can live with that. I will go back to my bubble and wait it out like everyone else.
Thanks for the thought provoking blog. I hope I didn't dissappoint you by leaving my comment!
Mavis offered us some good info.... Learn something everyday! Oh Hey Rick.. How you doing? I been out of pocket for a while but I'm back! Yeee-haaaawwww!! that's the Texax way right there! Yippiee Yigghh Yooo is good too... I didn't think the movie Black Dahila appeared to be all that great by the previews, but I will take your recommendations... I love a good action packed movie.
I vote for Texas... Did I say that already? Only cause I are one and I say it's the place to be. I am rambling big time in your blog but I do hope you kick some butt at that bowling getalong...
I think they pay no income tax at all in Nevada, or at least that used to be the case, I think. They make enough revenue from the poor saps in the casinos.
Have you tried making a photo album? The size is automatically dealt with as you up-load. You're also allowed to have bigger pics, up-to 550X550 pixels, which is better than the 400X400 pixels for a normal photo. You can always reference a photo in your blog, or anywhere else by just typing {photo:#####}. This gives you this, Invalid Photo #1007286 , for example.
Hey there Rick... Your sober birthday is the same as my real birthday! Congrats! Though, I don't know if you are an alcoholic but I am and birthdays mean alot! Rock on !
