 Take UP Your Cross Blog Prompt: what do you think a Christian’s role in our society should be? A Christian's role in society should be to set an example for others. We should be willing to teach others about Jesus but not to cram him down other people's throat. We must do it in love. We must show Christ's love to others. Prayer prompt: Pray for our world leaders and for wisdom to make good choices concerning artificial intelligence as it changes and develops. Dear God, Please be with the world leaders as they make choices concerning artificial intelligence. Give them good wisdom and council as it changes and develops and let them listen to the good council concerning it. What are some of the joys you have experienced over the past 12 months? These last 12 months have been hard so there have not been many. However, I do find joy on being involved in WDC activities, in spending time with children, in interacting with animals, and in studying the Bible. I find joy in some interactions with other people. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  Prompt: Groundhog "The groundhogs are pretty good at eluding. If somebody is trying to come after a ground hog, they go and they burrow." Jack Hanna Why do you think the groundhog inherited the duty of deciding the arrival of spring? Do you know of any people who make far-out predictions and then disappear from the view? Go to a charismatic church and I am sure you can run into several of those kinds of people. LOL I do not know why on earth someone decided a groundhog should determine our weather. However, sometimes I wish I had something to burrow in when I felt threatened. Just saying.  |
