Sounds like it was a lot of fun. We didn't do a lot of plays or acting out, but some. In the 11th grade we did a 2 week reenactment of the founding fathers with the big decision: should we declare independence from England? Our class was only 1 of 2 throughout the history of this activity that did not declare our independence from England. I played a judge that favored staying with England.
StephBee - It's going to be appearance and characteristic (like 'lazy' for example). I'm hoping I can deliver a meaningful session on this theme, it can have an impact if I handle it correctly!
I like to give people a chance, but far too many judge by appearances. I can say I'm guilty of it in the past and I try to do better. You could take this in a lot of different of directions based on ethnicity, skin color, heavy set vs thin, maga hat verus dyed hair color. Intrigued to see where you'll go with it.
None of the attendees have read Enid Blyton, so I had to start from scratch, but it got quite deep. We were supposed to be there an hour but went on for two hours.
