Lillehammer, Norway. Somewhere on Earth. |
Unpublished writer working with a foreign language. Working primarily with fiction, fantasy and science fiction. Often accused of writing post-modernism, but as I'm not entirely sure what that entails I won't say it for certain. I could check it on Wikipedia, but I honestly can't be bothered. Did that fully capture my essence as aloof and lazy with a sprinkle of brilliant? If so, good. If not, pretend it did. |
The financially fumbling kind. Seeking to write full time but alas no such luck. So I work two jobs. One writing, one paying. |
Not so much with the one trick pony. But recurring factors are irony, complexity and sardonic detachment. With a thesaurus. |
Watching paint dry. Highly underrated, relaxing and you can spend as much time doing it as you like. Especially if you bring your own paint. Does that qualify as artistic suffering? After all, you can't have paint without pain. |
Fantasy. Superhero comic books. Noir fiction. I want to write something about a super-detective trying to solve an elf murder |
Superman: birthright. Kingdom Come. His dark materials. (Honestly, if this was "least favorite books" this list would be way longer. Like by at least two.) |
Joss Whedon. Mark Millar. Bill Shakespeare. |
William Blake. |
Lead, follow or get out of my way. also: Live forever or die trying. |
Pretty much open-minded here. Talkin' Hannah Montana, Two steps from hell, audiomchine, Mozart, Superchick and several others that shouldn't legally be put in the same box of text. |
Serenity. The Matrix. Anything musically. (with the singing, and the dancing and the Broadway and the off-Broadway, and did we mention the singing?) The Dark Knight. And just about anything Noir. |
