Wow, sum it up in a paragraph! Not my strongest trait. I was born, grew up...got fat in grade school. Lost it in high school. Kept it off, except in my head. Got a job selling wine, which I now sorely regret, despite the desperate love of my products. Wrote like a madman for years, then gave it up, I think because I got married, but I'm not sure why it fell off to be honest. Something is missing in my life, so I'm back to fill some voids. Hoping I can find some inspiration here. |
In one word: lazy. I've been a writer that doesn't write. Writer - writing = douchebag. Don't wanna be a douche,so I'm here. |
I'm by no means great, but not bad, and would like to be better. I'd like to meet some great writers here, if there are any. |
It's my Playboy Bio! Turn ons: funny people, witty people (not the same thing), and, yes, I'll admit it, boobs. Turn offs: Fan Fiction, taking themselves too seriously, and bad writing. |
I helped create www.epicrpg.com, but am by no means locked into fantasy. It's great for those who like role-playing though. Dorky rpgs, not erotic. |
nope |
Anything. My first book was a fantasy book, and I will admit to a biased love there, but anything is fine by me, if its good. |
No no, I won't bias you. I'll keep this silent. See if you are good enough from my writing to see who I love. |

Not a fan of spoken word poetry. I'm not too sure why, but it just pushes my "bullshit" button every time I hear it. Does anyone else feel this? I get downright angry when I hear this stuff. Maybe I'm just a dick. |
Changes daily. Here's one that's appropriate, by Churchill, if truncated: "Criticism may not be agreeable, but it's necessary. It fulfills the same function as pain in the human body. It calls attention to an unhealthy state of things." |
Love Tom Waits, Ween, Nick Cave, Tool, Pearl Jam (I grew up in the 90's),anything classical when I'm writing, anything fast when I'm working out, which I do every day, and nothing sometimes. |
Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2, Food, Inc., (ok, I'll give in) Lord of the Rings, any of them, The First Matrix Movie, District 9, and any documentary. Really, any one. I love dry documentaries, for some reason. Maybe its the nerd in me. |
