I'm an aspiring author and musician. I love both classical literature and classical rock. I used to be a fantasy novel addict, but I've all but kicked that habit - one day, I realized I wanted to stop reading about adventures and start having them. I miss them dearly, though, and I miss feeling like I had all the time in the world to waste on reading them... I also enjoy starting projects I never finish, collecting rocks, and sleeping until noon. |
Fiction, fantasy, philosophy, essays, and poetry/songwriting. |
It used to be very proper, but slightly medieval-sounding. Now, it's all over the place. |
Writing, playing guitar, drawing, carving, crafting... I want to learn how to build guitars, as well. Oh, and though I've only been out of Michigan a handful of times, I have an acute interest in travelling... EVERYWHERE. |

LOTR, quite a few of Lynn Flewelling's novels, "Memories, Dreams, Reflections" by Carl Jung, Gregory Maguire's stuff, The Name of the Wind, and... I can't think of any more right now, though I know I'm missing some of the better ones. |
Shakespeare, Tolkien, Gregory Maguire, Jung, Lynn Flewelling, Robert Jordan, annnnd so many more. Oh, and - though he never wrote anything himself - Socrates. I found his 'Apology' (written by Plato?) enthralling. |
