I have mostly worked with animals. I raised baby animals at the Charles Towne Landing Animal Forest, started my Animal Control career in 1976 and faced many challenges and adventures. I managed animal shelters and boarding kennels, SPCA chapters, and a Regional Representative of the American Donkey and Mule Society and Treasurer of the Lowcountry Dairy Goat Society, staff writer for "The Nashville Graphic" in North Carolina. |
Mainly, I keep it simple and write from experience. I have worked with animals most of my life and my favorite subject. |
Having worked for so many police departments, my style is quite to the point and factual, not with flowery descriptions. |
I belong to the Lowcountry House Rabbit Society, Greenpeace, PETA, The Humane Society of the United States, World Wildlife Fund, World Conservation and Wildlife Rescue. I write letters and sign petitions for animal rights. |
