I am an avid reader and writer. I would like to get published one day, but that is not the main reason I write. I write because it is as necessary to me as breathing. The words swirl, morph, and fly through my soul, searching for an outlet of expression in the form of the written word. I write simply because I must. It is my obligation to myself, as essential to me as sunlight, salt water, and late afternoon sea breezes. It is an unfiltered view of who I am. |
I am a poet. I am a dreamer, a listener, a student, a teacher, and an observer of the human condition. |
I write most poetry and prose, with a short story or two thrown in for good measure. One day I hope to write a novel |
I have an ongoing love affair with words. I enjoy reading various subjects, listening to various types of music, swimming, walking on the beach at sunrise and sunset, cooking, gardening, playing with my cat, and traveling. |
Suspense, mysteries, drama, comedy, biographies, classics, poetry, short stories, and a host of others. |
