I have been writing in various forms (poetry, screenwriting, short stories) since the age of 15. My style has been developed through evening courses, University and in writing groups that I have organised myself. My main influences are Raymond Carver, Franz Kafka, Kurt Vonnegut, John Burnside, Bret Easton Ellis and Hubert Selby Jnr., amongst others. My passion is to explore the absurdities in everyday life. Taking situations to the extreme to test the accepted reality we live in. |
Mainly short stories. I have previously written poetry and screenplays. |
