I miss rotary dial phones, wind up clocks, and cars you can work on. Cokes a nickel, gas a quarter. Cruising the Dairy Dip was hip. The world we explored with books and trips, the Nightly News we believed. A front porch swing was a must for every house and clothes were bleached on a line behind the house. Now, these memories I hold dear and wonder about a world where you need GPS to find grandma's house and with the knowledge of the world in your hand, you’re looking at someone’s cat. |
