I have been a writer since an author named Joanna Hurwitz came to my elementary school and explained what it was that she actually did. I was fascinated with everything she had to say. You know you have something if you can fascinate a first grader with talk of something so horribly reminiscent of homework. In not time, I had talked my parents into buying an electric typewriter and began writing immediately. I felt that this was what I was supposed to do, and I still believe that... |
I tend toward fiction in all of its many forms, but I find the darker side of almost everything pretty fascinating. |
I am in no way a minimalist. I adore description. I adore characters. But all must be balanced, and that is the trick. |
