I am a veterinary technician in a busy, eight-doctor practice. I have been married for twenty years and still like my husband. I have two dogs and two cats, none of which are normal. Oh, I forgot about Fred, the fish, he lives in a tank on my kitchen counter. I require a creative outlet to stay sane. I accomplish this by doodling, day dreaming, woodworking and, of course, writing. I'm an excellent daydreamer, a pretty good writer when the time is right, a good woodworker, and a terrible doodler. |
I lean towards short stories, childrens' stories, fantasies and essays. |
Content rules the day, so the rules are often lost in the creative rush. |
White water rafting, hiking, woodworking, flower gardening, lazing around the house, hanging with friends and cuddling with my man. |
The "Outlander" Series by Diana Gabaldon. I have read these books many times yet, still laugh at the funny parts, cry when trajedy strikes, and hold my breath through the suspense of it all. |
Dean Koontz for Odd Thomas, Terry Goodkind for Kahlan and Richard, Robert Jordan for Rand and his crew, Janet Evanovich for the adorable Stephanie Plum, Robin Hobb for Fitz and the Fool, Tami Hoag and Nora Roberts for many steamy nights |
Wording is everything. |
Country, pop, some rock and classical |
