About Me
I'm just here for fun. I've always enjoyed writing despite not being much of a literate man. I can't recall the last book I've read. However, I thought now would be a good time to talk to some people who are more serious about writing and maybe pick up some tips. I'd love to hear feedback and advice from the more seasoned writers of this site. Anything to make me a better writer. So, please, don't hold back!
Type of Writer
I write whatever comes to mind. Usually mystery and suspense. I have an affinity for the horror genre so expect to see that.
Writing Style
Like I said before, I'm still very new to writing. I'm trying to work out what defines me and my style.
Interests
I'm a huge movie and music fan. I'm going to school for film and I enjoy playing the acoustic guitar. As you can also probably guess, I enjoy writing too. I love anything that's magical and mysterious.
Favorite Genres
Horror, mystery, sci-fi, western. Pretty much anything.
Favorite Books
I'm not much of a reader. I like some of Stephen King's stuff, despite hating a lot of it too. Albert Camus is probably my biggest influence. "The Stranger" has to be the greatest books that I've ever read. H.G Wells is another favorite.
Favorite Authors
H.G Wells, Albert Camus, Robert Wright, Stephen King.
Favorite Poets
Not big on poetry.
Favorite Quote
"Existence, well, what does it matter? I exist on the best terms I can."
Favorite Music
Joy Division, King Crimson, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Violent Femmes, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, The Moody Blues, The War on Drugs. I just love music all around.
Favorite Movies
Kill Bill, Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, Starship Troopers, Apocalypse Now, The Thin Blue Line, The New World, Aguirre the Wrath of God, Zodiac, Bride of Frankenstein, City Lights.
Favorite Shows
LOST, Breaking Bad, The Twilight Zone, Deadwood, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Scooby Doo Where Are You!, Band of Brothers, The Prisoner (60's version), The Outer Limits.
