| I was born in Sudbury, Suffolk, England. My family moved around the South of England. Immediately after my marriage in 1969 we drove up through England into Scotland and crossed on the Stranraer Ferry for my husband to take up a job in Northern Ireland. Our two children were born there and were 2 and 4 when we emigrated to New Zealand. My husband died in a motor accident 3 years later. I have studied Horticulture, Psychology, Economics and Social Policy and been active politically. |
