A man married a beautiful girl. He loved her very much. One day she developed a skin disease. Slowly she started to lose her beauty. It so happened that one day her husband left for a tour. While returning he met with an accident and lost his eyesight. However their married life continued as usual. But as days passed she lost her beauty gradually. Blind husband did not know this and there was not any difference in their married life. He continued to love her and she also loved him very much.
One day she died. Her death brought him great sorrow.
He finished all her last rites and wanted to leave that town.
A man from behind called and said, now how will you be able to walk all alone? All these days your wife used to help you.
He replied, I am not blind. I was acting, because if she knew l could see her ugliness it would have pained her more than her disease. So I pretended to be blind. She was a very good wife. I only wanted to keep her happy.

Moral:- *Some times it is good for us to act blind and ignore one another's short comings, in order to be happy*

*No matter how many times the teeth bite the tongue, they still stay together in one mouth. That's the spirit of FORGIVENESS. Even though the eyes don't see each other, they see things together, blink simultaneously and cry together. That's UNITY." May the Lord grant us all the spirit of forgiveness and togetherness*.

1. _''Alone I can 'Say' but together we can 'talk'._
2. _"Alone I can 'Enjoy' but together we can celebrate_

3. _'Alone I can 'Smile' but together we can 'Laugh'._

*That's the BEAUTY of Human Relations. We are nothing without each other*
STAY CONNECTED

*QUOTE OF THE DAY*
_The razor blade is sharp but can't cut a tree; the axe is strong but can't cut the hair._
*MORALS*; *Everyone is important according to his/her unique purpose,Never look down on anyone unless you are admiring their shoes*.

RICARDO STEINBRUCH: Economics by a professor - Brilliant and yet so Simple

Economics

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this...

The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay $1.
The sixth would pay $3.
The seventh would pay $7..
The eighth would pay $12.
The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.

So, that's what they decided to do.

The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve ball. "Since you are all such good customers," he said, "I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by $20.". Drinks for the ten men would now cost just $80.

The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes. So the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free. But what about the other six men? The paying customers? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his fair share?

They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer.
So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by a higher percentage the poorer he was, to follow the principle of the tax system they had been using, and he proceeded to work out the amounts he suggested that each should now pay.

And so the fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% saving).
The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33% saving).
The seventh now paid $5 instead of $7 (28% saving).
The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% saving).
The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 (22% saving).
The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% saving).

Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to drink for free. But, once outside the bar, the men began to compare their savings.

"I only got a dollar out of the $20 saving," declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man,"but he got $10!"

"Yeah, that's right," exclaimed the fifth man. "I only saved a dollar too. It's unfair that he got ten times more benefit than me!"

"That's true!" shouted the seventh man. "Why should he get $10 back, when I got only $2? The wealthy get all the breaks!"

"Wait a minute," yelled the first four men in unison, "we didn't get anything at all. This new tax system exploits the poor!" The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up.

The next night the tenth man didn't show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had their beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn't have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill!

And that, boys and girls, journalists and government ministers, is how our tax system works. The people who already pay the highest taxes will naturally get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they might start drinking overseas, where the atmosphere is
somewhat friendlier.

Prompt: Write about values that matter to you.
I have learnt that values are essential for enhancing ones learning process. So l have mentioned things l have learnt in life based on values.

I've learned ... That the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person.

I've learned .... That when you're in love, it shows.

I've learned .... That just one person saying to me, 'You've made my day!' makes my day.

I've learned .... That having a child fall asleep in your arms is one of the most peaceful feelings in the world.

I've learned .... That being kind is more important than being right.

I've learned .... That you should never say no to a gift from a child.

I've learned .... That I can always pray for someone when I don't have the strength to help him in some other way.

I've learned .... That no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyone needs a friend to act goofy with.

I've learned .... That sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand.

I've learned .... That simple walks with my father around the block on summer nights when I was a child did wonders for me as an adult.

I've learned .... That life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.

I've learned .... That we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for.

I've learned .... That money doesn't buy class.

I've learned .... That it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.

I've learned .... That under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.

I've learned .... That to ignore the facts does not change the facts.

I've learned .... That love, not time, heals all wounds.

I've learned .... That no one is perfect until you fall in love with them.

I've learned ... That life is tough, but I'm tougher.

I've learned .... That opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.

I've learned .... That when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.

I've learned .... That I wish I could have told my Mom that I love her one more time before she passed away.

I've learned .... That one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.

I've learned ..... That a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.

I've learned ..... That when your newly born grandchild holds your little finger in his little fist, that you're hooked for life.

I've learned .... That everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing

The eternal value according to my experience is Love and Live ‼

Prompt: Less is more. Do you agree or disagree?

I agree as-
"It's been 18 years since I joined Volvo, a Swedish company. Working for them has proven to be an interesting experience. Any project here takes 2 years to be finalized, even if the idea is simple and brilliant. It's a rule."

Globalized processes have caused in us (all over the world) a general sense of searching for immediate results. Therefore, we have come to possess a need to see immediate results. This contrasts greatly with the slow movements of the Swedish. They, on the other hand, debate, debate, debate, hold x quantity of meetings and work with a slowdown scheme. At the end, this always yields better results.

1. Sweden has 2 million inhabitants..
2. Stockholm has 500,000 people.
3. Volvo, Escania, Ericsson, Electrolux, are some of its renowned companies. Volvo even supplies NASA.

The first time I was in Sweden , one of my colleagues picked me up at the hotel every morning. It was September, bit cold and snowy. We would arrive early at the company and he would park far away from the entrance (2000 employees drive their car to work). The first day, I didn't say anything, neither the second or third days. One morning I asked him, "Do you have a fixed parking space? I've noticed we park far from the entrance even when there are no other cars in the lot." To which he replied, "Since we're here early we'll have time to walk, don't you think that whoever gets in late will need a place closer to the door?" Imagine my face.

Nowadays, there's a movement in Europe named Slow Food. This movement establishes that people should eat and drink slowly, with enough time to taste their food, spend time with the family, friends, without rushing. Slow Food is against its counterpart, Fast Food and what it stands for as a lifestyle. Slow Food is the basis for a bigger movement called Slow Europe, as mentioned by Business Week.

Basically, the movement questions the sense of "hurry" and "craziness" generated by globalization, fuelled by the desire of "having in quantity" (life status) versus "having with quality", "life quality" or the "quality of being".

French people, even though they work 35 hours per week, are more productive than Americans or British. Germans have established 28.8 hour workweeks and have seen their productivity driven up by 20%. This slow attitude has come to the notice of USA , the pupils of the fast and "do it now" brigade.

This no-rush attitude doesn't represent doing less or having a lower productivity. It means working and doing things with greater quality, productivity, perfection, with attention to detail and less stress.

It means re-establishing family values, friends, free and leisure time. Taking the "now", present and concrete, versus the "global", undefined and anonymous. It means taking humans' essential values, the simplicity of living. It stands for a less coercive work environment, more happy, lighter and more productive work place where humans enjoy doing what they know best how to do.

It's time to stop and think on how companies need to develop serious quality with no-rush that will increase productivity and the quality of products and services, without losing the essence.

In the movie, 'Scent of a Woman', there's a scene where Al Pacino asks a girl to dance and she replies, "I can't, my boyfriend will be here any minute now". To which Al Pacino responds, "A life is lived in an instant". Then they dance the tango!

Many of us live our lives running behind time, but we only reach it when we die of a heart attack or in a car accident rushing to be on time. Others are so anxious to live for the future that they forget to live the present, which is the only time that truly exists.

We all have equal time throughout the world. No one has more or less. The difference lies in how each one of us does with our time. We need to live each moment. As John Lennon said, "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans".

So less of other work related activities is desirable with more time to groom our personal equilibrium.

Australia is a very expensive country.

Though it is very expensive, but public service is very good.

A family from Kanpur was traveling on a family vacation with their father.

They were going by car on the highway. A local woman was driving her car behind them....
She suddenly saw the head of an old man coming out of the car window. She saw that he was vomiting blood, she captured this scene in her camera and sent it to d police, they alerted d air ambulance service....

Within a few minutes a helicopter ambulance were present.....

The father was immediately taken on d stretcher and oxygen was started.

The family had to pay Rs 20 lakh for those services ...!!!

And yes ...
Most Importantly, the son is still trying to find out where did his Father get Gutka from!!!????😁😁😁

1. I recently got crushed by a pile of books, but I suppose I've only got my shelf to blame.

2. A man knocked on my door and asked for a small donation for a local swimming pool. So I gave him a glass of water.

3. I went to a really emotional wedding the other day. Even the cake was in tiers.

4. I had to quit my job at the shoe recycling factory. It was just sole destroying.

5. I was getting in to my car the other day and a man said 'can you give me a lift?' I said 'sure, you look great, chase your dreams, go for it!'

6. I've decided to sell my vacuum. Well, it was just gathering dust!

7. What's the best time to go to the dentist? Tooth-hurtie!

8. Never date a tennis player. Love means nothing to them.

9. I saw a documentary on how ships are kept together. Riveting!

10. I was overcharged for velcro last week. What a rip off!

11. I've been reading a book about anti-gravity. It's impossible to put down.

12. A train stops at a train station. A bus stops at a bus station. Now why is my desk called a 'work station'?

13. How do prisoners call each other? On their cell phones!

14. The thing about dwarfs and midgets is that they have very little in common.

15. To the guy who invented zero: Thanks for nothing!

Some time ago, I visited a farm, with two horses in it.
From a distance, each horse looked like any other horse.
While gazing at the beautiful animals, I noticed something quite amazing.

One of the horses was blind. His owner had chosen not to have him put down, but had made a good home for him.

I could hear the sound of a bell nearby.
Looking around for the source of the sound, I saw that it came from the smaller
horse in the field.

Attached to the horse's halter was a small bell. It let the blind friend know where the other horse was, so he could follow.
As I stood and watched these two friends, I saw that the horse with the bell was always checking on the blind horse, and that the blind horse would listen for the bell and then slowly walk to where the other horse was, trusting that he would not be led astray.

When the horse with the bell returned to the shelter of the barn each evening, it stopped occasionally and looked back, making sure that the blind friend wasn't too far behind to hear the bell.

Like the owners of these two horses, God also does not throw us away just because we are not perfect or because we have problems or challenges!

He watches over us and even brings others into our lives to help us when we are in need.

Sometimes we are the blind horse being guided by the little ringing bell of those who God places in our lives.
Other times we are the guide horse, helping others to find their way.

Good friends and family are like that. You may not always see them, but you can hear the bell and know they are always there.

Thank you for listening to my bell in the year going by. In the coming year, Please listen for my bell and I'll listen for yours.

*We all walk by hope and faith and not by sight alone.*

Let's ring our bell for all our friends and family in the coming year & stay blessed forever.

Happy New Year - 2022!

Mind depends on thoughts.
Consciousness is beyond thought. Consciousness arises out of ignorance
(the primordial state – the Absolute). Ignorance becomes knowledge.
When one leaves the body, the knowledge
recedes into ignorance.
One who recognizes this is a siddha.

Due to contact with maya,
this delusion is called God.
He too is maya.
There is not an iota of truth in this world. Many people study yoga, which is the joining of knowledge and ignorance. In the end, all is ignorance. It has to be realized that consciousness itself is ignorance.
When there is no consciousness there is no time, and vice versa.
What is the meaning of time?
If there is no consciousness, can one recognize time?

You are the power that takes continuous photographs of the five elements. You do not make any effort there.
Therefore there is no doer.
You may say that you own nothing, but do you even own yourself?
Knowledge is the source of ignorance, and vice versa. The recorded tape repeats itself. Does it have any intelligence?
Exactly like that, the impressions that have been recorded in your consciousness since childhood do the talking.
Is this understood? The tape and your consciousness are of the same category.

The fact that we remember ourselves is the main ailment. It results in thought and carries out all mundane dealings. Time, maya and Brahman (the manifestation) are the same. Paramatman is not of the nature of consciousness. It is the perfect, pure vijnana, prior to consciousness. It is not born out of a womb. The experience of the imperfect state has needs like hunger, thirst, etc. That is how it is recognized. Enjoyments are there so long as there is maya of the form of consciousness.

If you're sitting in public and a stranger takes the seat next to you, just stare straight ahead and say, "Did you bring the money?"

When you ask me what I am doing today, and I say "nothing," it does not mean I am free. It means I am doing nothing.

I finally got eight hours of sleep. It took me three days, but whatever.

I run like the winded.

I hate when a couple argues in public, and I missed the beginning and don't know whose side I'm on.

When someone asks what I did over the weekend, I squint and ask, "Why, what did you hear?"

When you do squats, are your knees supposed to sound like a goat chewing on an aluminum can stuffed with celery?

I don't mean to interrupt people. I just randomly remember things and get really excited.

When I ask for directions, please don't use words like "east."

Don't bother walking a mile in my shoes. That would be boring. Spend 30 seconds in my head. That'll freak you right out.

Sometimes, someone unexpected comes into your life out of nowhere, makes your heart race, and changes you forever. We call those people cops.

. My luck is like a bald guy who just won a comb.
