Alex Mar wrote a tragic yet triumphant true story about Paula who at 15 years old found herself on death row. Social history, forgiveness, and the people who's lives were changed through their involvement in the case is told respectfully.

This story begins with the murder of an elderly woman during a violent home invasion in 1985 in Gary, Indiana.
