I really enjoyed this book. I was drawn to the behind-the-scenes story of a rock band who rises to astronomical success and then crumbles because of the success. I couldn’t help thinking how many bands could probably relate to the story.

The whole book is told through snippets of interviews with all of the characters. At first, I loved this unique approach to storytelling, but I did get a little tired of it by the middle of the book. That said, I soon got over that, and I ended up really liking it.

The characters are all great. Daisy is wonderfully flawed, really a dreadful person in many ways. But, even so, it’s impossible to not like her. You want her to get better. Billy, too. He’s fab. When he and Daisy are together, it’s magic. I felt so bad for Graham. His character was often overlooked and treated badly.

I read somewhere this book is based loosely on Fleetwood Mac. That makes sense. I could definitely see that.

All in all, a great story. Now, I want to watch the TV series.

Anyone who loves to read about the music industry and the dynamics of bands and how fame affects them. Also, people who just love good human stories.

Daisy. I know I shouldn't have, but I couldn't help it. I also love the twist at the end when we find out who the journalist conducting the interviews is.

The format of everything being told as answers to an interviewer's questions. At times, this really bugged me. Other times, it just felt ... right.
