Inspired to climb the the 4,000 peaks in New Hampshire, Tom and Attitcus go climbing - where Tom learns a lot about life.
This type of Book is good for...
It's a very inspirational story, so I think it's helpful for people who love nature, love dogs, and tend to ponder the meaning of life.
I especially liked...
The setting. I grew up in New Hampshire so finding a book like this was a treat for me.
When I finished n/a this Book I wanted to...
Find out more about Tom Ryan. I understand he lives in Jackson, NH and continues to hike with his dogs, Samwise and Emily, who are rescues. Tom has his own blog on Substack if you want to follow him.
This Book made me feel...
Like going hiking in NH.
I recommend this Book because...
It is a very heartwarming story that will tug on your heartstrings.
Further Comments...
I picked up this book as I found it as a Product Review in the Angel Army PR forum. I would have never discovered such an inspirational story that came out of my "neck of the woods." This book has so much appeal - dog lovers will enjoy it, Hikers will enjoy it, and watching Tom overcome his own personal obstacles and challenges is inspirational.

Tom's writing style is not conversational, but it's a style I identify with as it's more of a formal style that I grew up learning in high school in the 1980's in New Hampshire. I would say it's somewhat more formal and it required to slow down and really pause to reflect on some of the passages I'd written.
