I wanted to focus on writing better and finding another book about writers and writing.

I felt as if I had met him and and I was a friend throughout the events he described from childhood to adulthood.

He inspired me to work on writing better and perhaps try writing something non-fiction.

Triumph over challenges is inspiring and uplifting. I can remember his accomplishments and this showed me that people can have strength and purpose and dedication to meet challenges and be successful.

A reader who wants to be entertained by the typical fictional style of writings might find this book unfulfilling and perhaps become disillusioned before completing the reading of this writers story.

History buffs possible would enjoy reading this book.
