Marty Klein shares with readers his story including his childhood. time in the military, and the changes that occurred during his adult life. Plenty of emotions, action, and heartfelt ups and downs are presented to the reader. He has remarkable changes as he loses his sight and eventually becomes totally blind. Dealing with his demons and eventually helping others show the contrasts from a self-absorbed and cocky-sighted individual to a blind caring and generous blind person.

This book will give the reader insights into how he dealt with being blind and how he eventually was able to do more than he thought. Readers who enjoy biographies will enjoy this book.

I liked all of the book, but really enjoyed reading about the funny parts of his journey in life.

I liked all of his story, however, it was sad to learn about his relationship with his father when he was a boy.

Felt like congratulating him for making positive changes and reaching to help people.

I can relate to much of what he wrote about because all of my life I've needed help from people here and there.

The drama and trauma of dealing with his gradual loss of sight is real and can give readers an idea about what many people experience in this kind of situation.

There are some humorous parts in this book, it is realistic and emotional, and it shows his life and experiences in a way that allows readers to get to know him and his circumstances.

This book could upset readers who are experiencing similar situations or it could uplift their spirits depending on the point of view.

I was able to visualize the scenes, get to know Marty and relate to his situation.
