Popular magazines and the people he interacted with who wrote and edited these periodicals are discussed along with techniques for hiring and jeeping top-notch employees. Some of the personalities in his story are Steve Jobs and other magazine editors, writers, and promoters with whom he socialized and worked professionally. Behind the scenes, information of various types is shared with the reader. Writers will learn some techniques of the writing and editing tradecraft. Social media and Google are also mentioned. You will get to know many people who worked with and relaxed with during his career.

This book is clearly written and shows details of a unique lifestyle, a journey worth taking because you will be involved with the characters, and scenes, and learn about this unique world and lifestyle.

This book as I see it is not something someone would read casually. It is packed with information that keeps the reader wanting to know more. If you want to read for a few minutes a day, fine poetry or something else.
