This is a devotional book geared towards teens and focuses on having a thankful heart. I bought it in October knowing that there were 50 devotionals and wanting to finish it by the end of November. I finished it on Thanksgiving day and really enjoyed the book, even though I'm an adult (legally... maybe not in spirit ).

Like in ll the "Jesus Calling" books that I have read, Sarah Young writes as if it is the Lord God talking to the reader and uses a lot of Scripture (Bible verses).

I really enjoyed it.

Christians, and people who are open to the Bible and being grateful to God. I would say / guess that it would be good for people 8 years old and up. It is geared towards teens but very easy to read and I found it highly relatable.

The fourteen pages I either highlighted quotes on or bookmarked. Unfortunately Amazon won't let me copy and paste any of them but there was a lot to like and these especially I plan to re-read next Thanksgiving season.

Start on the Jesus Calling for Christmas book by the same author. I haven't yet but I likely will. That one also has amazing artwork. I have read it before but it is a Christmas season joy for me. I don't remember how many devotionals it has? It might take me into February to finish it.

Thankful, grateful, and I prayed a lot while reading it.
