Summary of this Book...
This is the 8th book in the cozy mystery series. It's a bit more gruesome than some cozy mysteries I've read, but I love the Irish flair of the whole thing and have loved Siobhán O’Sullivan and her siblings and beau (who is now her husband) since the first book. Her wedding is canceled due to this book's murder, which happens, as the title suggests, on a farm. One twist is whose farm it is and how it came to be theirs. Another is that (spoiler alert) the first body is very old! A cold case crime. But then there's a fresh kill and the case goes from cold to hot. There are a lot of suspects, quirky characters, interesting subplots, and I found it to be an entertaining read, even though it could be a bit draggy at times.

The author of this Book...
"Carlene O’Connor is the USA Today bestselling author of the acclaimed Irish Village Mysteries, the Home to Ireland Mysteries, and the Irish Vet Mysteries. Born into a long line of Irish storytellers, her great-grandmother emigrated from Ireland filled with tales in 1897 and the stories have been flowing ever since. Of all the places across the pond she’s wandered, she fell most in love with a walled town in County Limerick and was inspired to create the town of Kilbane, County Cork, the setting of her Irish Village Mystery series. Carlene currently divides her time between Chicago and the Emerald Isle. Please visit her online at CarleneOConnor.net." from Amazon.
I recommend this Book because...
It was a fun read. I would, however, recommend reading the series in order. I think it would be more enjoyable that way.
