Summary of this Book...
This is book six (and the latest) in Brigg's Alpha and Omega series that features the (now mated) werewolves Anna and Charles Cornick. Anna is a calming omega wolf and Charles is a super dominant alpha wolf.

Although there was more telling than showing at the beginning of the book, once the action started it didn't stop until the end. I found it to be a great story with a lot of interesting characters. Briggs brought in some old favorites (Bran, Tag, and Coyote) and gave us Leah's story, which made me finally like her. Leah's story was heavily intertwined with figuring out how to battle the main adversary so it worked well with the main story line.

In this book the werewolves confronted some new and unusual challenges, including an immortal who made an entire off-grid town disappear.

I recommend reading Brigg's Mercy Thompson series first and then this series and reading both in order.
This type of Book is good for...
People who like paranormal, romance, mystery, suspense, adventure, werewolves, witches, Sasquatch appearances, multifaceted characters, and/or a good story.
I especially liked...
Anna and Charles, of course. Liking them so much and being curious about how they would solve the mystery together was what kept me interested enough to get through the telling parts. Tag surprised me, I liked him before and liked him even more. Learning Leah's story finally made her relatable. The new characters and interesting alliances kept things fresh. Anna and Charles' romance and the big surprise at the end (epilogue) were just what my heart needed.
I didn't like...
There was something... some moral declaration that didn't sit well with me when I read it but I don't remember specifically what it was.

When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Read the next book. It's hard to wait until she writes them.
This Book made me feel...
One the action really got started, it felt like I was on a wild, paranormal adventure.
The author of this Book...
From Amazon: "Patricia Briggs is the author of the New York Times bestselling Mercy Thompson urban fantasy series. She lives in Washington state with her husband, children, and a small herd of horses."
I recommend this Book because...
It was a good read and I love the main characters.
Further Comments...
I borrowed a copy of this book from my local library.
