Summary of this Book...
This is book two of two in this exciting paranormal/ fantasy duology by Patricia Briggs. It continues the story of Raven Seraph Raven Hennea's battle against The Shadowed One. The battle involves every member of Seraph's family, the Emperor, some of the great Passerines from the first book, and a surprise new hero. Again, Tier (Seraph's husband) features heavily. I enjoyed the journey with this magical family.

The characters. I grew to love most of the good ones, especially Seraph, Tier, their kids and, in this book, Hennea. In the last book I wasn't so sure about Hennea. I loved the magical city, the illusion libraries, and the unusual helpers in the final battle.
I didn't like... | ||
That I had guessed who The Shadowed One was while still in book one. But there were plenty other things to surprise me and I still enjoyed the book.
