Summary of this Book...
A thirty-nine year old Alice hits her head at the gym and wakes to discover that she is ten years older than she thought, is in fabulous physical shape, has three kids, and a marriage that is ending
This type of Book is good for...
If you're feeling a bit down, this book is sure to get you laughing as you realize that your life could always be worse.
I especially liked...
-the mix of humor and bittersweet sadness
-Alice was especially relatable to me
-interesting and thought-provoking plot
I didn't like...
I'm not a fan of telling a story through multiple viewpoints. If done correctly, I don't mind so much. Unfortunately, I found the sister and grandmother mostly unnecessary. I skimmed over most of their parts.

POSSIBLE SPOILER
.
.
The ending. As I got closer to the end of the book, there were two different times that I thought I was reading the ending. Instead, I was toyed with until the actual conclusion came along and bewildered me. It just didn't make sense to me. Where was the big reveal about Gina's secret? What was the betrayal that caused them to split up in the first place? I have no idea! I feel like Moriarty lost interest in Alice as soon as she regained her memory.
This Book made me feel...
Every time I put this book down, I got lost in my own thoughts and memories. Daydreaming of what I would change or forget in my past. There were a couple of Alice's moments with which I identified and sympathized.
The author of this Book...
Liane Moriarty is the Australian author of seven internationally best-selling novels. Her books have been translated into over forty languages and read by more than 14 million people worldwide.
